Canadian Precision Cutting Tools · Cambridge, Ontario
Royce Ayr designs and manufactures precision cutting tools in Canada for CNC routing, profiling, sawing and industrial machining. Its product program spans solid-carbide, replaceable-insert and PCD tooling for wood, composites, plastics, non-ferrous materials and other demanding production applications.
The company traces the Royce Carbide Tools side of its history to 1963. Ayr Saw and Tool was acquired by Gene Veening, Max VanTil and Stan Puklicz in 1984, and the two businesses were combined as Royce//Ayr Cutting Tools in 1997. The Cambridge operation continues to manufacture standard and custom CNC tooling, cutterheads and saw blades.
