The SCM Topset XXL is SCM’s large automatic throughfeed moulder developed to expand the planer-moulder range for customers needing larger working sections and higher performance. It is built for beams, prismatic profiles, frames, linear parts, and profiles for windows, doors, furniture, garden, and boat furnishings.
The official technical envelope includes 20 mm minimum finished working width, 320 mm maximum finished working width, 10 mm minimum finished thickness, 200 mm maximum finished thickness, 4–40 m/min feed speed, 7.5–40 kW motor power, 6000 rpm standard spindle speed, 8500 rpm optional spindle speed, 6000–12000 rpm HSK spindle speed, 50 mm tool-holder spindles, and 140 mm feeding rollers.
The Topset XXL is available in seven compositions, with the ability to double spindle groups depending on the customer’s needs. This can include doubled right and left vertical units and doubled top and bottom horizontal units for demanding profile mixes.
