BTRS Return Conveyor for Straight-Line & Gang Rip Saws

Doucet BTRS is a rip-saw-specific return conveyor family offered as BTRS-68, BTRS-70 and BTRS-71. Adjustable receiving and return conveyor speeds are 40–120 ft/min, the perpendicular belt-transfer speed is fixed at 180 ft/min, the receiving conveyor is 5 feet, and each model retains its own return geometry.

Production problem

Boards exiting a straight-line or gang rip saw need a controlled route back to the operator without repeated manual carrying around the saw.

Machine mechanism
