Operator-friendly cutting cycle with ergonomic two-hand start and low setup complexity for day-to-day production.
Salvamac Legend 400
Salvamac Legend lineLegend 400
Compact, reinforced and built for fast daily crosscutting, the Legend 400 gives smaller-section production a safer, more repeatable alternative to conventional manual chop-saw work.
Legend 400 for compact daily production.
The Legend 400 is the smallest model in Salvamac’s Legend family. It uses a 400 mm blade, a 3.0 kW motor and a 2800 rpm spindle speed, and is best presented around the official cutting envelopes of 220 × 80 mm and 250 × 50 mm. It is a strong fit where shops want safer semi-automatic crosscutting without jumping immediately to a full optimizer.
Painted, thick, reinforced steel construction with flanged floor anchoring for stable cutting under regular industrial use.
Guarded cutting zone, pneumatic workholding and CE-oriented configuration path with minimum infeed and outfeed tables.
LEGEND 400 / MACHINE UNIT
Performing, resistant, ergonomic.
Legend 400 is built around a reinforced steel body, flanged floor feet, ergonomic two-hand control and electro-pneumatic clamping. Salvamac also highlights independent pneumatic regulation to adapt the machine to different work conditions.
Machine and accessory gallery.
The Legend platform can be configured around the stock flow with guarded cutting, roller or flat tables, manual or pneumatic stops and an optional rising front guard.
Technical data with source discipline.
What the machine is really selling.
The strongest commercial case for Legend 400 is not only the blade and motor. It is the complete semi-automatic package around safety, stability, controllability and configurable material handling.
Two-hand safety cycle
Ergonomic bimanual controls start the cutting cycle while helping keep the operator’s hands clear of the guarded blade area.
Reinforced steel body
Thick painted steel construction and flanged floor anchoring create a stable industrial cutting station for repetitive daily work.
Pneumatic workholding
The upper presser secures the material during the cycle, with protected bearing movement and automatic lubrication supporting reliability.
A practical step beyond the manual chop saw.
The smallest Legend model brings reinforced construction and semi-automatic operation to shops cutting medium-small sections.
The 220 × 80 mm and 250 × 50 mm illustrated sections make it straightforward to qualify the machine against real stock sizes.
Roller or flat tables, fences, scale bars and manual or pneumatic stops let the station match the production flow.
Where programmable length positioning becomes necessary, Titan can move the conversation toward Combo and SalvaStop configurations.
Built for smaller-section production cutting.
The Legend 400 is strongest where the stock fits its published section chart and the shop needs a stable, safer and repeatable cut-off station rather than full length optimization.
Joinery blanks
Crosscutting smaller solid-wood components where repeatability and safer handling matter more than automatic optimization.
Window and door parts
Component cut-off within the machine’s section envelope for manufacturers processing smaller profiles and blanks.
Furniture components
Rails, stiles, frame parts and secondary solid-wood preparation before shaping, drilling, profiling or assembly.
Carpentry production
A more industrial daily cut-off station for professional carpentry and architectural woodwork operations.
Pallet and packaging parts
Repeat cut-off of compatible smaller-section boards, blocks and packaging components.
General secondary processing
Daily material preparation in sawmill support lines and wood-processing shops where semi-automatic cutting is the right next step.
