Start with the shop

Choose filter height and surface area first, then match the blower and dust-disposal route.

The BEL family is configurable. Collector model root, Standard/XL height, blower and disposal method are separate choices.

Collector family

Standard height

BEL 50, 75, 100, 150 and 200 Standard-height configurations use a 109 in. collector height.

Collector family

XL height

XL configurations use longer Ø8 × 66 in. Beane Seamless Tube filters and a 130 in. collector height.

Blower

Blower selection

Standard blower rows cover 5 and 7.5 HP; Hummer rows cover 10, 15 and 20 HP.

Disposal

Disposal selection

Disposable bags, steel drums, tilt trucks and a 360-gallon dump-bin route are available disposal choices.

Application fit

Wood-dust collection with a configurable stand-alone filter bank.

BEL is intended for wood-dust applications where collector height, filter area, blower performance, noise and disposal strategy must be matched to the process.

Application

Woodworking dust

Configure BEL around the dust-producing machines and collection points in the woodworking process.

Capacity

Scalable filtration

Standard and XL configurations provide published filtration surfaces from 150 to 641 sq. ft.

Noise

Lower-speed Hummer route

Hummer blower rows operate at 1800 RPM with row-specific published sound values from 80 to 83 dBA.

Option

Automatic shaker

An automatic shaker is available as an optional filter-cleaning package.

Placement

Enclosureless layout

Plan collector placement, service access and discharge around the complete dust-collection system and site requirements.

Integration

System review

Airflow, resistance, duct routing, disposal clearance and applicable safety requirements are resolved as one system.

Select BEL from the process backwards

Process → airflow basis → resistance basis → collector height/filter area → blower → disposal.

Use the application requirements to select the collector and blower instead of choosing by motor horsepower or headline CFM alone.

Define machines

List collection points, extraction requirements and simultaneous-use conditions.

Define airflow basis

Establish the process airflow requirement across the machines expected to run together.

Define system resistance

Account for the duct network, fittings and equipment interfaces when matching blower performance.

Choose Standard or XL

Match filtration surface and physical height to dust loading, floor plan and service access.

Close blower + disposal

Select the blower row and dust-disposal route around the complete operating plan.

Collector architecture

Beane Seamless Tube filter bank with self-cleaning filtration and an optional automatic shaker.

The collector, blower and disposal package work as separate configured components within one dust-collection system.

Blower

1 — Air movement

A separately selected Standard or Hummer blower provides the required blower-row performance.

Filtration

2 — Filter bank

BEL uses Beane Seamless Tube filters in both Standard and XL configurations.

Cleaning

3 — Filter cleaning

Filtration is self-cleaning, with an automatic shaker available as an option.

Disposal

4 — Dust disposal

Collected material moves to the selected bag, drum, tilt-truck or dump-bin arrangement.

Standard blower rows

5 HP and 7.5 HP at 3600 RPM.

Standard blowers are separate configured components and retain their own CFM, suction, inlet, weight and sound values.

3600 RPM

5 HP Standard

2,500 CFM; 7.5 in. WC suction; 9 in. inlet; 200 lb blower weight; 82 dBA.

3600 RPM

7.5 HP Standard

3,500 CFM; 6 in. WC suction; 10 in. inlet; 240 lb blower weight; 84 dBA.

Hummer blower rows

10 / 15 / 20 HP at 1800 RPM.

Hummer is the lower-speed blower route, with each row retaining its own published performance and sound values.

1800 RPM

10 HP Hummer

4,000 CFM; 9 in. WC suction; 12 in. inlet; 350 lb blower weight; 80 dBA.

1800 RPM

15 HP Hummer

5,000 CFM; 10 in. WC suction; 14 in. inlet; 450 lb blower weight; 81 dBA.

1800 RPM

20 HP Hummer

5,000 CFM; 11 in. WC suction; 16 in. inlet; 560 lb blower weight; 83 dBA.

Blower-row CFM and suction values describe the blower selection. Installed airflow at each machine depends on the complete dust-collection system.

Filtration

Standard and XL configurations use Beane Seamless Tube filters.

Standard-height and XL configurations use different tube lengths while retaining the same tube-filter architecture.

Filter architecture

Tube filtration with two published filter lengths.

Standard-height models use Ø8 × 45 1/2 in. tubes. XL models use Ø8 × 66 in. tubes.

Record the exact BEL model and Standard/XL configuration before ordering replacement filters.

Optional automatic shaker

Filter-cleaning hardware that activates after blower shutdown.

The automatic shaker is an option and should remain identified separately from the BEL collector's core filtration package.

Optional cleaning package

Automatic shaker for filter cleaning.

The option activates after blower shutdown and is tracked as a separate configured feature in the supplied system.

Service and control procedures follow the supplied BEL configuration and manufacturer documentation.

Dust disposal

Disposable bags, steel drums, tilt trucks or a 360-gallon dump-bin route.

Choose the disposal arrangement around dust volume, floor access, handling method and service frequency.

Accessory

105-gallon tilt truck

A 105-gallon tilt-truck route is available for collected dust handling.

Accessory

360-gallon dump bin

A 360-gallon dump-bin route with forklift handling is available as a disposal option.

Disposal

Bags / drums

Disposable bags and steel drums provide additional dust-disposal routes.

Installation / interface planning

Collector footprint, blower inlet and disposal clearance close against the complete shop layout.

Published blower inlet diameters span 9 to 16 inches. Final duct routing, static-pressure basis, placement and safety architecture depend on the complete process.

Layout

Collector footprint

Model width varies by BEL configuration; published table depth is 49 in. across Standard and XL rows.

Equipment interface

Blower inlet

Blower rows use 9, 10, 12, 14 or 16 in. inlet sizes according to the selected blower.

Service

Disposal clearance

Reserve access for the selected bag, drum, tilt-truck or dump-bin arrangement and normal service work.

System design

Complete duct network

Size and route the duct system from process airflow and resistance requirements rather than blower inlet diameter alone.

Ownership / service planning

Keep collector height, filter length, blower and disposal package tied together in the machine record.

Standard-to-XL changes alter filter length and filtration surface, while blower and disposal remain separate configured components.

Filtration

Filter record

Record Standard vs. XL and the exact Beane tube dimensions before ordering replacement filters.

Cleaning

Shaker record

If supplied, record the optional automatic shaker and its control package separately.

Blower

Blower record

Record Standard/Hummer, HP, RPM, inlet and blower-row performance independently from the BEL model root.

Disposal

Disposal record

Record the supplied bags, drums, tilt truck or dump-bin arrangement for parts and service planning.
