Legend 500 is Salvamac’s semi-automatic upstroke crosscut saw for medium sections. Its standard published cutting envelope reaches 220 × 125 mm and 310 × 50 mm, while an optional wide-cut configuration reaches 350 × 80 mm and 375 × 50 mm. It is a practical fit where Legend 500 capacity is too limited but the larger Legend 550 platform is unnecessary.

The Legend 500 uses a 500 mm under-table blade driven by a 5.5 kW motor at 2800 rpm. Material is supported on the selected table configuration, held by an electro-pneumatic upper presser and cut through a guarded two-hand cycle. Pneumatic regulation lets the cutting movement be adjusted to the work being processed.

Cutting capacities are section combinations, not simultaneous independent maximums. The 375 mm width requires the optional wide-cut configuration. Electrical supply and final installed footprint must be confirmed for the selected Canadian package and table lengths.

Guarded two-hand cycle
The ergonomic two-hand control initiates the cut while the automatic pressure device secures the workpiece and the under-table blade remains enclosed outside the cutting stroke.
