It is positioned for solid wood calibrating and sanding, veneered panel sanding, honeycomb-supported veneered panels, and general sanding work in cabinet, furniture, millwork, and custom production environments.
The SD 30 is the practical first serious wide-belt sander in the SCM/DMC sanding range. It gives smaller shops real calibration, veneer sanding, solid wood sanding, MESAR sectional-pad capability, program storage, stable transport, and LED-guided panel introduction without moving into a larger industrial sanding platform.
Core technical data includes 950 mm or 1100 mm working width, 4–170 mm working thickness, 970 mm sanding belt width on the 950 mm version, 1115 mm sanding belt width on the 1100 mm version, 1900 mm sanding belt length, 11 kW / 15 hp standard main motor power, and 4.5 / 9 m/min feed speed with inverter.
The machine can be reviewed in CS and RCS head concepts. CS 110 is a compact single-head configuration with combined roller/pad sanding for general sanding and finishing work. RCS 95 and RCS 110 are twin-head layouts that combine roller calibration with a combined roller/pad head for broader sanding and calibration capability. Final configuration should be confirmed against the quoted Canadian package.
