The SCM Sergiani 3D Form HP is an industrial 3D laminating press designed for high productivity and high-definition forming on complex shaped panels. It is positioned for cabinet door manufacturers, routed MDF door producers, thermofoil and 3D laminated door shops, furniture-front manufacturers, molded-panel producers, decorative panel manufacturers, and production plants working with shaped surfaces.
The machine’s Automatic Flexy Pin system is a major production advantage for shops that produce multiple profiles, mixed door designs, routed decorative fronts, and varied panel families. Instead of relying on dedicated counter-shapes for every panel design, the Flexy Pin system helps reduce panel composition downtime and reduces the need to store fixed counter-shape tooling.
The Sergiani 3D Form HP can be configured with up to 3 trays, allowing automatic tray handling to synchronize with loading and unloading units. In the right production layout, this reduces cycle-time loss around handling and helps keep the press focused on the pressing cycle rather than waiting on manual setup steps.
For formed-surface quality, the intermediate flange uses vacuum and pressurized air to improve definition on complex shapes. The vacuum cycle brings the membrane into contact with the coating, helping reduce creasing risk and improve coating heating uniformity, while the pressurized-air cycle improves definition on demanding profiles and deep shaped surfaces.
HP+ models include the 3D Form HP+ 30-14 with 2900 × 1340 mm platen dimensions, 400 tons of thrust, 8 × 140 mm cylinders, 60 mm working chamber height, 8+1 kg/cm² specific pressure, and ribbed structure. The larger 3D Form HP+ 33-14 is listed with 3200 × 1340 mm platen dimensions, 500 tons of thrust, 10 × 140 mm cylinders, 60 mm working chamber height, 8+1 kg/cm² specific pressure, and ribbed structure.
