Machine Information
The SCM Startech CN K is a compact professional CNC machining centre built for small-format routing, engraving, decorative machining, signboard work, and 3D prototyping. Designed as a 3-axis CNC platform, it gives workshops, training centres, design departments, and custom woodworking operations a practical way to bring CNC machining in-house without the size and infrastructure requirements of a full nested CNC router.
The machine features a 1170 × 760 mm worktable, 915 × 610 × 176 mm X/Y/Z stroke, 160 mm Z-axis workpiece clearance, axis speeds of 5 / 5 / 2.5 m/min, maximum tool diameter of 60 mm, maximum tool-holder diameter of 16 mm, and a 2.4 kW electrospindle capable of reaching 24,000 rpm.
For operator safety and shop cleanliness, the Startech CN K uses a fully enclosed cabin with internal LED lighting. For programming flexibility, SCM highlights the machine’s open virtual human-machine interface, which can import compatible G-code from CAD/CAM software.
Optional 4th-axis capability allows lathe-style processing to be positioned on the worktable, giving the machine additional creative and prototyping flexibility for schools, training environments, sign shops, and custom production teams.
