The SCM Easy Cart is a dedicated glue-pot management accessory for edgebanding departments. Its role is to make glue-pot cleaning, maintenance, changeover, preheating, and polyurethane glue preservation easier, cleaner, and less disruptive to production.
Easy Cart can be positioned independently in the production area thanks to its wheels and compact footprint of less than one square meter. Quick-coupling connections allow glue pots to be removed and installed more easily during cleaning, maintenance, and glue changes.
The cart can manage up to three glue pots at the same time. Two glue pots can sit inside the special maintenance tank, while one glue pot can be placed in the external motorized position for cleaning, maintenance, or glue change.
For PUR glue users, the Easy Cart offers a major workflow advantage. The air-management system inside the tank can maintain polyurethane glue in the glue pot for up to 72 hours, and the integrated preheating system allows the polyurethane glue pot to be prepared inside the maintenance tank so it is ready for production.
