KleinDIA® is a Diamond-Like Carbon anti-friction surface treatment rather than a PCD cutting edge. SISTEMI applies an approximately 1 micron coating at low temperature so the underlying carbide geometry is retained. The coating is specified with high hardness, strong wear resistance, low friction, and low material adhesion to support chip flow, finish quality, and reduced maintenance in suitable production work.
