Wirutex was founded in Pesaro in 1980 as a specialist in sharpening, maintenance and resale of woodworking tools. By the end of the 1980s the company had developed its first polycrystalline-diamond tool, beginning the transition into a manufacturer of high-performance cutting systems.

Today Wirutex designs, manufactures and distributes PCD and tungsten-carbide tooling for wood, plastics and aluminum. The Titan catalogue spans edgebanding knives and scraper inserts, end-trimming and grooving saws, PCD pre-milling and profiling tools, CNC router tooling and Turbinex dust-removal systems.
