Working geometry
The point geometry is intended for the tool’s drilling operation.

Designed to drill through holes.
Carbide tips form the working edges, supported by the tool body.
This Royce Ayr proline carbide thru drill is designed to drill through holes.
The point geometry is intended for the tool’s drilling operation. Support the exit side of the workpiece and set the drilling depth for the required breakthrough. Carbide tips form the working edges, supported by the tool body.
The 5 mm cutting diameter and 35 mm cutting length define the working section of this version. Its 10 mm shank fits a holder or collet matched to that diameter. This is a left-hand tool; it must be used with the matching spindle rotation.
