This Royce Ayr solid carbide upcut router bit is designed to route grooves, profiles and pockets. It is suitable for solid wood, wood composites and selected plastics.
The cutting section follows the programmed path or guide to form the required shape. Choose the entry method and depth of cut to suit the tool’s end geometry. The upcut spiral lifts chips out of the cut. The solid-carbide cutting section provides rigidity and wear resistance at the working edge.
The 5/8 in cutting diameter and 2-1/8 in cutting length define the working section of this version. Its 5/8 in shank fits a holder or collet matched to that diameter. This is a left-hand tool; it must be used with the matching spindle rotation.
