Machine Overview

Controlled rustication, grain highlighting, brushing, and surface sanding across two working widths.

The SCM Formula STR32 / STR62 family is designed for shops producing visible solid-wood, MDF, veneer, cabinet-door, furniture, panel, and decorative millwork surfaces that require controlled brushing or sanding.

STR32 models provide 300 mm working width for narrower parts and detail work, while STR62 models provide 600 mm working width for wider doors, panels, furniture fronts, and decorative components. Both families support workpieces up to 300 mm high with 3–20 m/min feed.

R versions use steel and Tynex brushes for rustication, grain highlighting, and textured finishes. L versions use abrasive insert brushes for sanding MDF, veneer, cupboard doors, shaped details, and solid-wood parts. Each machine uses two machining units, with brush speed matched to the selected version.

Capability Matrix

One machine family. Five focused surface-preparation roles.

The Formula STR32 / STR62 platform supports rustication, grain highlighting, surface sanding, door and panel preparation, and repeatable decorative-finishing setups.

Mode 01

Wood Rustication

R versions use steel and Tynex brushes to create controlled rustic texture and surface character in solid wood.

Mode 02

Grain Highlighting

Brushing follows and exposes the natural grain pattern for decorative, aged, and textured visual effects.

Mode 03

Surface Sanding

L versions use abrasive insert brushes for MDF, veneer, cupboard doors, solid wood, and finish-preparation work.

Mode 04

Door, Panel and Detail Preparation

Supports cabinet doors, furniture fronts, panels, moulded components, and shaped details within the selected width.

Mode 05

Repeatable Production Setup

Variable feed, version-specific brush speed, handwheel height adjustment, and numerical readout support repeatable settings.

Production Advantages

Designed around version-specific brush systems, two working widths, and controlled surface preparation.

The STR32 / STR62 family lets shops match width, brush type, and speed control to the required rustication or sanding process.

Two Widths, Four Versions

Choose 300 mm or 600 mm working width, then select the R rustication configuration or L sanding configuration.

Brush Package Matched to the Process

R models use steel and Tynex brushes, while L models use abrasive insert brushes with variable brush speed.

Controlled Setup and Extraction

Feed-speed adjustment, handwheel height positioning, numerical readout, and two 150 mm extraction outlets support repeatable operation.

Manual Preparation

Hand Brushing and Sanding

Suitable for prototypes, low-volume decorative work, localized texture, and highly manual finishing processes.

Dedicated Surface Station

Single-Purpose Brushing Equipment

Adds a consistent feed path and repeatable brush action for narrower process requirements and moderate production.

Formula Production Platform

SCM Formula STR32 / STR62

Combines two machining units, 300 or 600 mm working width, 3–20 m/min feed, R rustication versions, L sanding versions, and controlled height setup.

Production Environments

Where the Formula STR32 / STR62 Fits

Professional structuring, brushing, and sanding machines for cabinet doors, furniture components, decorative millwork, MDF, veneer, solid wood, and visible panel surfaces.

Cabinet, Door and Furniture Shops

Strong fit for cupboard doors, furniture fronts, solid-wood details, MDF components, veneered panels, and visible parts before finishing.

Millwork and Decorative Panel Producers

Supports architectural millwork, textured panels, trim, moulded details, rustic finishes, and grain-highlighted surfaces.

Finishing and Custom Surface Departments

Fits shops producing repeat decorative texture, specialty brushing, surface sanding, and controlled finish preparation.

Surface Character · Controlled Production

A dedicated finishing station that gives visible wood and panel components a more controlled, repeatable surface identity.

The Formula STR32 / STR62 family brings brushing, rustication, grain highlighting, and surface sanding into a stable through-feed process instead of relying on inconsistent hand preparation.

The 300 mm STR32 format is suited to narrower components and detail work, while the 600 mm STR62 format supports wider doors, panels, furniture fronts, and decorative surfaces.

R and L versions let the shop match steel, Tynex, or abrasive insert brushes to the required result, while controlled feed, brush speed, height setup, and extraction support repeatable daily production.
