The SCM Omal HG2 is an automatic drilling and inserting machine for cabinet hinges. It is designed for door and panel components where hinge boring and hinge pressing must be repeatable, organized, and less dependent on hand layout or separate manual operations.
The first machining head is fixed while the second head is manually positioned using brake release and digital readout support. The machine then drills from below and inserts hinges automatically from removable loading magazines.
A 180–1500 mm working field, 10–40 mm panel-thickness range, adjustable reference stops, panel-presence sensing, and inductive hinge-presence protection make the HG2 a focused production station rather than a general-purpose CNC drilling machine.
