The SCM Sergiani GS-F is a cold press with electronic control and manual loading/unloading. It is designed for manufacturers that need controlled pressure, high surface quality, and strong gluing performance without a heated press cycle. SCM positions the GS-F for veneered panels, hollow-core doors, multi-layered panels, and two- or three-layer wood flooring.

This machine should be positioned as a professional cold pressing solution, not a basic shop clamp or simple panel press. It gives cabinet, furniture, door, flooring, veneer, panel, and lamination manufacturers a controlled pressing platform with electronic setup, pressure management, diagnostic support, and repeatable press-cycle control.

The GS-F structure is engineered for resistance and rigidity during pressing. Its hydraulic cylinders use chromed and rectified steel rods with high-resistance gaskets for sealing performance and long service life. This matters in production environments where platen stability, surface quality, and consistent glue-line pressure determine the quality of the final panel.

The Siemens colour touchscreen control panel includes software for automatic hydraulic pressure calculation, diagnostics, program storage, and saved working parameters. This gives operators a more structured and repeatable workflow than basic manual pressing systems while still keeping the machine practical for shops that do not require automatic loading and unloading.

The GS-F range includes configurations with 4, 6, 8, or 10 cylinders, thrust ratings from 20 to 200 tons, and platen sizes from 2500 × 1300 mm up to 3800 × 1600 mm. SCM lists PF as the standard platen type and PL as a platen with metal sheet covering, allowing the final machine to be reviewed around the required pressing surface.
