The SCM Gabbiani PT is an automatic horizontal panel saw designed for shops that need automatic cutting, guided operation, and practical loading-platform support. It is built for cutting wood panels and derivative materials including chipboard, MDF, plywood, multilayer panels, fibre panels, melamine, laminated panels, and other wood-based sheet goods.

The PT version adds platform-based loading to the Gabbiani P/PT range, giving small and medium-sized manufacturers a more organized way to handle panel stacks and feed the cutting cycle. Platform cutting-depth options of 1850 mm or 2200 mm and maximum panel-stack height up to 600 mm with support beams make it a strong fit for shops upgrading from sliding table saws, vertical panel saws, or manual cutting workflows.

The Gabbiani PT is available as the PT80 or PT95. The PT80 provides 80 mm blade projection with a 340 mm main blade, while the PT95 provides 95 mm blade projection with a 370 mm main blade. Both versions list cutting lengths of 3300, 3800, or 4300 mm, optional saw carriage speed up to 120 m/min, pusher speed of 80 m/min, 1.5 kW scoring unit blade motor, 4650 rpm main blade speed, 5850 rpm scorer speed, 200 mm scorer blade, and 5 standard clamps.

For shops that want additional productivity, the optional FLEXCUT unit allows simultaneous rip and cross cuts, while SAW-SET provides fast electronic tool adjustment. The intelligent LED bar system helps guide the operator through processing and loading steps, and the rear LED bar supports forklift stack loading by assisting with positioning and signaling stack-change requirements.
